The Head of Communication role reports to Anders Olsson, CEO Telia Sweden and shall be a member of the Swedish Executive Management Team (SELT).

The role includes, but is not limited to:Developing and implementing internal and external communication strategies and plans that support Telia Sweden and various Telia Sweden business entities and functions, strategy, and in alignment with Telia Company’s Group strategic agenda.
Business Partnering with Telia Sweden’s senior management team through collaboration with senior business stakeholders to understand business opportunities and priorities and translate them into proactive communications efforts towards internal and external stakeholders.
Drive Telia Sweden’s internal communications efforts in support of Telia Company Group strategic, cultural and transformation projects and employee engagement.
Constantly work on both a strategic and a tactical level, which means that operational work such as producing communication material is part of the daily work.
Safeguarding and enhancing Telia Sweden’s reputation in public and media channels and ensuring the alignment of Telia Sweden’s reputation with the Telia Company’s Group values and purpose.
Overseeing Telia Sweden’s media, press and public discourse and engagement and ensuring the maintenance of positive relationships with Swedish press and media on behalf of Telia Sweden.
Lead, in alignment with Telia Group Company guidance, Telia Sweden crisis communications efforts if, and when, required.
Be a strategic advisor and support leaders in the organization regarding both internal and external communication.
Managing and leading a team of internal and external communication professionals. Budget responsibility for the Telia Sweden Communications function.

A positive relationships with relevant external media and communications stakeholders in Sweden. Availability of relevant access to, and influence in, Swedish press and media
Positive reputation and sentiment values for, and strong storytelling track record of, the Telia story and strategy across relevant (internal and external) channels in Sweden, online and offline
Reputation as a close partner to the business, including strong relations with the relevant business and function leaders.
Positive, measurable Employee Engagement and strong change communication in Telia Sweden driven by effective internal communications.
Timely and efficient implementation of relevant communications processes in line with Telia Company Group policies
Is this you?
Team leadership experience
From setting direction (strategy and plans), leading, mentoring, and coaching communication professionals.
Track record of proactively handling external and internal communication close to support the business.
Including media/press management, brand, reputation, public affairs, crisis and issue management, change management and employee communication.
Relevant industry experience.
Ideally obtained in a fast-paced and modern industry with experience from both B2C and B2B.
Experience from working in a matrix set-up
Experience to collaborate and navigate efficiently to effectively generate output in a matrix set-up
Relevant academic background. Fluent in Swedish and English.
