Group Business Controller to Boliden

About the position
As a Group Business Controller, you will get a unique opportunity to be a part of Boliden’s work dynamic at group level. You will have a central part of the organization and work closely with top management. In the position you will be a part of the Group Control team of 4 employees and report to the Director of Group Control. Group Control is responsible for the financial management and planning, analysis, follow-up of Boliden's operations both operational and financial and a wide range of projects.
The function is a part of Group Finance that consist of approximately 20 people. As Group Business Controller you will be in close cooperation with the other group functions such as Accounting, IR, Treasury, Tax, Internal Control, Strategy/Market, CR, Communication, Business Areas, and Boliden’s subsidiaries.
The position is located at Boliden's head office located at Klarabergsviadukten in central of Stockholm.
Key responsibilities
You will work with a variation of tasks since the team rotates between areas of responsibility, but some examples are:
- Follow-up and quality assurance of the Group's monthly financial and operating results
- Preparation of analysis, PM and presentation material for management
- Coordination of forecasts and budget processes
- Preparation of board material and quarterly external information
- Further develop system, tools and Excel-functions to streamline and automatize processes
- Participate in and run projects and business cases within Group Finance
- Continuously develop processes, routines, manuals and more.
Your profile
You have an academic educational background in economics, engineering or equivalent. After that, you have some years of experience from auditing, controlling or consulting. The most important is that you possess analytical skills and an interest in business performance. You have very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and an interest in working with various systems and analysis tools.
Personal skills
You are a high performing individual with a great sense of accuracy and the ability to structure and communicate complex information and data. Furthermore, you are a self-motivated and a quick learner with the ability to solve different problems. To fit in at Boliden we also believe that you are a good team player who enjoys collaborating with others as you will have close contact with colleagues within the organization.
